NPCs NPC traders can be found in convoys trading all around the galaxy. They are commonly found flying [[TPG Teradon FrigateConstellation Heavy Transport]]s, [[Trident Light Frigate]]s, [[Behemoth]] Heavies (armed with two Capital Gatling Turrets), [[WraithCentaur]]s, and [[ECAtlas]]es. Convoys of NPC traders launch from stations and carry cargo to other stations, either as part of an [[Missions#Faction_VariantsEscort|Axia EC-101B'sEscort Mission]], or periodically on their own. They are usually accompanied by an NPC fighter escort consisting of [[Vulture|Vulture MkIV]] and [[Centurion|Centurion MkIII]] ships. Pirates often prey on NPC traders for the cargo they carry, attacking them in places where their local standing holds no penalty for kills, such as [[Systems#Grey_Space_Systems|Grey Space]] wormhole sectors.
