I could easily dice up the sector map image into little squares that could then load into a no border/padding/spacing table and we could get some css rollovers for each sector with descriptions like it is in-game, instread of having just the TOC of sectors and an image next to it. What you think? --[[User:MarkMcDoogle|Mark McDoogle]] 09:34, 18 May 2005 (CST)

Go for it. I mostly made this article accompany my updated version of the [http://mandalor.homelinux.net/vendetta/vc/ Vendetta Cartography] site. For me personally I thought it easier to do it outside of the Wiki, and link in to Wiki so everyone could make sector notes. MediaWiki markup doesn't allow for image area maps AFAIK, so it would have to be done by breaking the system map up into lots of little images like you describe, which IMO is too much work, especially as it would have to be repeated seperately for eacy system. And w/out image area maps I can't think of any nice way to deal with the universe map, to link to the systems. But, just because I'm too lazy to work with MediaWiki markup limitations doesn't mean you have to be, if you want to make the system map luverly, it's cool w/ me. --[[User:Beolach|Beolach]] 13:45, 18 May 2005 (CST)
