Skins
VO has supported user created skins since version 1.5.6.
You can see how the skins assemble, and learn how to make your own skins here.
In April of 2023, the Reskin plugin was released, allowing easier management of the current game skin in-game. For the skins that are available below, downloads are marked as Neoloader/Reskin patched if they support this utility. Supporting this utility does NOT mean the skin requires its functionality; they can still be installed using the manual method.

Manual install method
These steps are for pilots electing to not use the Reskin utility. If you are using Reskin, skip to the Reskin installation method listed below.
Add a skin to your game:
- unzip Skin-Folder into your .vendetta folder
- edit config.ini
- add under [Vendetta]:
- skin=<yourskinfolder>/ (don't forget the trailing / as it might be neccessary on some platforms!)
If you want to keep the vendetta folder clean and tidy, modify steps 1 and 4 like this:
- Step 1: create a subfolder "skins", put the unzipped folder in there
- Step 4: add skin=skins/<yourskinfolder>/
If a login screen is broken, you can fix it by renaming the file "main.login.panel.png" to "main.login.panel.account.setup.png
If you want to use the in-game multi-aim feature with a skin, you may need to make copies of the HUD reticles and add a number 1 through 5 to the end of them, as per this thread.
Skin creators can customize font colors by including a config.ini with the information listed in this forum thread.
Reskin installation method
Make sure to use a download link marked as Neoloader/Reskin compatible!
Download and install the provided skin as though it were a plugin;
- unzip the skin and copy the folder to your /vendetta-online/plugins directory
- Start (or restart) the game
- Open reskin using the /reskin command and select the skin you want to use
